Oh so funny...

So during my "blog-hopping" I've noticed a lot of parents doing the same thing. They chronicle (sp?) little things that their kids are doing and saying. I think it's genius! It gives us a little way to remember what our kids say - cuz it's always something funny - and when they say it. So I've decided to do it myself.

Mia is beginning to talk a lot. She's hilarious, she copies almost anything you say so I'm having to watch my mouth a lot more. She very fond of one bad word and tends to say it at all the wrong times. It's the SH-- word, and I know this is all my fault because it's the first word I say when I'm mad or frustrated or sometimes just speaking. The other funny things she says are:

Me: "Mia, why did you do that?" or "Mia, why are you screaming?" or "Mia, why did you put your plate on your head?"
Mia: shrugging her shoulders, "Cuz" - it's her answer to everything.

she says: "Move!" then I say: "Mia, you ask nicely" then she says "Scoozee"

And she can count to 4 if you start her off with 1. Well, she's done it twice but still I think she's a genius.

Kayleb always says/does the funniest things. So we took the kids to see Iron Man this Saturday. I'm sitting next to Kayleb and I look over and he's all hunched over facing the chair on the other side of him. I asked him if he was all right and he turns around with a mouth full and says "Yes". I asked him what he was eating because I was holding the popcorn and he says "nothing". So I grab his hand and see an Airhead candy. He had stolen it out of my car and slipped it in his pocket and was trying to hide eating it from me!
The other night he's going to bed and he asked for water. I told him no because then he will have to go pee he then said "Mom, that's what water does, it makes you go pee, so you should just let me have it because I'll have to pee anyway." I let him have it, I like to reward his thinking skills.

Those are just a few things said lately but everyday is something new. I swear, I couldn't love them any more than I already do!

Too funny. I don't know if we will see you on the 7th. We'll see your kids at the west reunion, so if you end up going to that, then we'll see you! We'll see what we can work out. What time/day will you be at your mom's?
