Sacramento Trip

About a week and a half ago I went on a little trip to Sacramento with some friends. It was the first time I've gone somewhere without the kids. It was nice to have a little time to myself but I missed them so much too! Nick got a good taste of what it's like to be a mom - on 24 hours a day, revolving your day and pretty much LIFE around the kids. But it is definitely worth every bit of effort. Being away from them made me appreciate them so much more!
Me, my friends Amber and Desiree went to visit our friend Natalie who lives in Sacramento. The four of us were roommates my first year at Dixie. We ate out at so many fun places went shopping at a REAL mall and visited "Old Sac" as the locals call it. It's the older part of town with original buildings. We also visited the Jelly Belly factory and saw how the candy was made. Desi and Amber tried some of the nasty jelly beans but I sure didn't. I also decided to add a little something to my foot that I've wanted to do since I was about 16 and I finally did it. I've had some requests to put it on here so here ya go!

So I love it and now I have something to always remind me of my trip to good old Sacramento!

Thanks Natalie for the great time. I think we ALL loved it and really needed it. Love ya!

Good times! Good times! Should be all go back? Didn't you want to put my Tat on there too? Oh wait... we would need Desi to draw the rose back on. Later

My mom has seen the tattoo. She actually had a bigger reaction than my dad. She thought I should have gotten it smaller, my dad likes it - he's just glad it's not on my back or arm.
